Enhancing Mental Health Support Services in Huangtian Primary School
Gold Coin Zhangzhou, an Aboitiz Foods company, acknowledges the importance of mental health in students’ overall well-being. On July 17, 2024, Aboitiz Foods team members led by Zhuang Huili, the General Manager of Gold Coin Zhangzhou, visited Huangtian Primary School in Fujian Province of China. They donated resources to improve the school’s psychological consultation room, benefitting its 127 students.
Mental health plays a significant role in maintaining students’ overall health, both mind and body. In addition, Gold Coin Zhangzhou has helped ensure every student at Huangtian Primary School is well-equipped for learning. The company also provided assistance worth 2,000 CNY to two students who needed financial support for their educational needs.
This initiative reflects Gold Coin’s dedication to developing a supportive learning environment where students can thrive in all aspects, including academics and emotional well-being.
Engaging students in shrimp farming
In addition to enhancing school facilities in China, Gold Coin Indonesia organized an engaging learning session at Global Mandiri Junior High School in Jakarta to inspire their high school students. On June 11, 2024, Zulkarnain Pasaribu, Vice President for Business Operations, led the session titled, “Shrimp Industry at a Glance,” which aimed to generate interest in aquaculture among the younger generation.
The learning session provided a unique opportunity for the students to better understand food and agriculture, focusing on the shrimp industry. Pasaribu shared valuable insights highlighting the significance of shrimp as a nutritious source of protein, which was particularly engaging for the students. This topic offered them practical knowledge about how the shrimp industry appears in their everyday lives.
The lively discussions and learning experience excited the students to explore more aspects of the food and agriculture industry. Bringing in the new knowledge they gained, Gold Coin Indonesia hopes to inspire them to apply what they learned to their personal lives.
